When you sign in with Apple, we may receive your email address. When you sign in with Google, we may receive your email address and display name. - Profile and preferences: your preferred region, language, favorite streaming platforms, and notification preferences. - Content activity: lists you follow, watch status, watched episodes and seasons, reactions, and related content progress data. - Device and session information: the region inferred from your device or request context, push notification tokens, and technical data required to operate sign-in, session refresh, and API requests. - Gravatar avatar lookup: if you have an email address associated with your account, we may derive its hash to request an avatar image from Gravatar. We may share information only with the following service providers and integrations, as needed to operate PlayNext: - Apple and Google, for sign-in and authentication - The Movie Database (TMDB), for content metadata, images, countries, genres, and streaming availability data - JustWatch, for streaming availability attribution and related provider information where applicable - Gravatar, to retrieve an avatar image associated with your email address - Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to store and serve the application and API These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. 4. Legal basis and purpose We process your information to provide the PlayNext service, to fulfill our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, based on your consent. 5. Retention and deletion We retain your information only for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we delete the account and all associated data permanently and immediately. There is no retention period for deleted accounts or deleted user data. 6. Your choices You can update the following in the app: - language - region - favorite platforms - notification preferences You can also sign out at any time. You can request account deletion from the profile section of the app. 7. Security We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 8. Children PlayNext is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to the processing of personal data.
